Jesus Rendon Obituary

JESUS A. RENDON
ALAMO - Jesus A. Rendon, 92, died Friday, February 22, 2008, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Rendon was born in Mexico and had lived in Alamo all of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luisa and Juan Rendon; two sisters, Cecilia Flores and Leonides Garcia; a brother, Crispin Rendon; a son, Rene Rendon; and a daughter, Maria R. Rodriguez.
Mr. Rendon is survived by his wife, Virginia L. Rendon, of Alamo; five children, Margot R. (Cesario) Campos, of Donna, Guadalupe Rendon and Narciso (Juanita) Rendon, both of Alamo, Elisa Crawford, of Austin, Texas, and Frances (Eddie) Contreras, of Pflugerville, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 24, 2008, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Monday, February 25, 2008, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 101 of Pharr. Pallbearers will be, Adan Campos, Isabel Jaramillo, Crispin Rendon, Jr., Omar Rendon, Enrique Espinosa and Jesus Rene Rendon.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
