I remember Jocelyn like if it were yesterday, first day of school starting of our sophomore year in spanish class. She sat on the opposite side of me. Her face seemed familiar and it surely was. I had recognized her face from previous years but never had the pleasure to meet her as who she was. That day in Mr. Freytas' Spanish classroom she introduced herself to the class by playing the famous icebreaker game. What stuck out most is what she had done in the Summer, which was helping out a few relatives after Katrina hit New Orlands. Then I didn't know what three years later would be like nor did I even think about it. I now only treasure the memory of her face down the halls, here and there, and everywhere I remember. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jocelyn Quezada. May you rest in peace in a land not too far from home. You will live forever in our hearts and missed.

The day you left you took a part of me that will NEVER be replaced. You and I were inseparable and til this day I can't believe that that a big part of my life was taken away in such an instant. Words can't express the feeling I get when I realize that you being gone is no dream, although I wish it was. A feeling of loneliness and pure heartache. You & I were inseparable, from being in Kindergarten together to graduating high school, at family parties, and even just for a cruise to DD's for some iced coffee or your favorite cookies & cream milkshake. You were my other half, the person I expressed myself to, the person who comforted me or made me smile just by looking at your beautiful smile. There were times when I didn't even have to tell you something was wrong because you knew me so well that you sensed it. We know every single detail about each other & there's no one else who will ever know me better than you do. All I have now are memories of you that I will cherish forever. Our inside jokes & special moments will never be forgotten as well as your personality & how much you mean to me. I miss you so much and although you're gone you will never be far away from me because you will remain in my heart until we meet again. You are my guardian angel & I know you're in a better place now. Gone but never, ever forgotten baby girl. I love you & miss you. xoxo

"If tears could build a stairway & memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven & bring you home again."

ITS SAD,TO SEE AN ANGEL LEAVE THIS WORLD,TAKING AWAY THE LIGHT ,THAT WAS SHINED ON,SO MANY ,DONT FORGET THE ONE THAT LOVED YOU MOST,HE STILL THINKS ABOUT YOU AT NIGHT,AND IT DESTROYS HIM TO KNOW THAT YOUR NOT BY HIS SIDE,REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WILL ALWAYS HOLD A PLACE IN HIS HEART,AND THE HEARTS OF ALL YOUR FRIENDS,ALL THE BLESSINGS IN THE WORLD TO YOU,SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY ,LIKE YOU WERE MEANT TO,YOU WERE AN ANGEL THAT WAS GIVEN TO US AN NOW YOUVE BEEN CALLED HOME,I HOPE YOU ALWAYS WATCH DOWN ON YOUR LOVED ONES ,BECAUSE YOU WERE THE CLOSEST THING TO PERFECTION THAT THE WORLD HAD TO OFFER,YOU ACCOMPLISHED WHAT MOST OTHERS WOULDNT HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO TRY,REST IN PEACE,AND MAY DIOS TE QUIDA PORQUE TU CORAZON SE LO VA ACER EL REGALO MAS IMPORTANTE A EL CIELO,
