JOSE RAMIREZ Obituary
EDINBURG - Jose Efrain Ramirez, 22, died Monday, October 25, 2010, in Edinburg.
Born in McAllen, Jose Efrain had lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by a brother, LCpl Benito A. Ramirez.
Jose Efrain is survived by his parents, Felipe and Maria Graciela Ramirez; a brother, Alan David Ramirez; maternal grandmother, Fidelfa Cantu all of Edinburg; paternal grandmother, Maria De Atoche Reyna of McAllen; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, October 27, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.

It's so hard after many years of waiting for this pain to go away to not cry every time, something reminds me of you, my gym buddy, my best friend since 6th grade, my computer partner in mrs. Treslers class, he would give me free popcorn when he worked at cinemark:) he answered my calls and was always a great friend with good positive advice, I know you're hanging out with his accordion in heaven save a place for me, until we meet again my friend

One thing i will alway remember about Efra is his unique voice and the smile on his face even when he was goin thru hard times. He always saw the positive side of things. God bless his family and friends.
