MRS. JOSEPHINE DEVINE McALLEN - Mrs. Josephine Devine entered into Eternal rest on Feb. 25, 2015. She was 88. Born in 1926 in Tipton, IL, she lived in McAllen, since 1952, with her loving husband of 65 years, James Devine. Josephine was a devout catholic and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows since 1952. An excellent baker, cook, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother, she was loved by all. She was a very kind person who helped many, always joyful and never saw bad in anyone. A great example for everyone. She is survived by her husband, James Devine; son, Mike (Nancy) and his children, April (Edgar) and Michael; son, Mitch (Lisa); daughter, Debbie (Lee) and her children, Taylor (Raymond), Lee, and Dakota; great grandsons Jayden and Jace(April); and great grandsons, Raymond,Jr., and Malachi and great granddaughter, Gracie (Taylor). Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 from 6-8 pm, with a reading of the Rosary at 7 at Kreidler Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Sat., Feb 28 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She will be in interred in the cemetery on the grounds of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tipton, IL, her childhood church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in kind to Alzheimer Research.
