JUAN ALBERTO LIMAS

McALLEN - Juan Alberto Limas, 93, was called by our Lord and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, TX. He was born in Linares Nuevo Leon and son of Jesus and Maria Anastacia Torres-Limas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, six sisters and his first wife of fifty-six years, San Juana Gonzalez. He is survived by his present wife, Evarista Limas and his children Eusebio Limas, Sr. (Lydia) of McAllen, Nilda Mata (Javier) of Alamo, Juan Alberto Limas, Jr. (Natalia) of McAllen and Maria Leticia Limas of Corpus Christi. He has ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He worked most of his life as a grove-care foreman for Bentsen Development Co. of Mission, TX. He was a very dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and was a pillar to his family and friends, always unconditionally extending a hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and to all those whose lives he touched.
A Funeral Mass will be held today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen, TX. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, TX. All funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen, Texas.
