Juan Rodriguez Obituary
EDINBURG - Juan Rodriguez Sr., 91, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Comfort House in McAllen. He was born on June 26, 1915, in Mexico to Apolonio and Julia Rodriguez.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife; Alicia C. Rodriguez, sons; Juan (Mary Ann) Rodriguez Jr., Jesse Rodriguez, Felipe Rodriguez, Martin (Barbara) Rodriguez, Claudio (Rosie) Rodriguez, Adan (Griselda) Rodriguez, and Juan Pablo (Eva) Rodriguez, daughters; Isidra T. Rodriguez, Maria de la Luz Rodriguez, Consuelo (Domingo) Torres, Maria Magdalena (Tim) Yanez, and Julia Rodriguez, sisters; San Juana Ramirez, and Hilda Arredondo, sister-in-law; Carolina Rodriguez, twenty-seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Clemencia Rodriguez, son; Apolonio Rodriguez, two brothers, and four sisters.
Mr. Rodriguez worked for the Hidalgo County Water District #1 for many years until his retirement. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
Family will receive friends today, Sunday, December 17, 2006, from 3 - 9 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home of Edinburg with a rosary to be held at 7 p.m. Christian mass for Mr. Rodriguez will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home of Edinburg.

Juan, San Juana, and other family members: Please accept my sincere condolences. Your father was a fine man and was highly respected by me and my family. He worked for my Uncle Lovick and my father. He will be sorely missed by his community, family and friends.

My condolences to the family. I am saddened to here of the passing of my good friend, Juan. He was a good, faithful, honest employee of my uncle Lovick, my Dad, and the water district.
