Kenneth Sherwin Fox

McAllen - Kenneth Sherwin Fox, 91, passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2024, surrounded by his family at home.

Kenneth (Kenny) was born in St. Louis, MO on August 13, 1932, to Anna and Louis Fox. Living a life less than ordinary, Kenneth forged his own path from the very beginning. Kenny married his one true love Elaine Greenberg in December of 1952. In the summer of 1964, with four children in tow, Kenny moved his family from Kansas City, MO to McAllen, TX where he and his family flourished, and he started Kenneth Fox Supply (today known as Fox Packaging). While in Texas growing his business, Kenny and Elaine also grew their family and their youngest was born. Starting from humble beginnings, Kenneth Fox Supply was built into a manufacturing powerhouse supplying packaging worldwide. Kenny was deeply passionate about his company, the industry he served, and especially the individuals he employed. Beyond his passion for his business, he was most passionate about his family and his Jewish community. Kenny served and supported both with a deep sense of pride. Over and above Kenny's success in manufacturing, and as a leader in the Jewish community, his greatest achievement was his wonderful family. Growing up as an only child, family was everything to Kenny and he shared that with everyone who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed by all. May Kenny's memory forever be a blessing.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Elaine Fox; his children: Valerie Mehis (Jim), Lori Goldman (Bruce), Keith Fox (Bruni), and Aaron Fox (Danielle); his grandchildren: Adam Mehis, Josh Mehis (Karina), Nic Mehis (Kat), Alyson Goldman, Ashlee Cinaroglu (Binkan), Zac Goldman (Shannon), Jacob Fox (Adriana), Lucas Fox (Aislen), Noah Fox, and Dylan Fox; his great grandchildren: Emma Horak, Sophie Cinaroglu, Bryson Horak, Elise Cinaroglu, Ari Cinaroglu, Kyler Fox, and Maya Mehis, plus two more on the way.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Fox and his son, Craig Fox.

Funeral services will be held at Kreidler Funeral Home Friday April 19th at 10:00am, followed by a private burial.

The Fox family kindly asks that you respect their privacy and wishes during this difficult time. Graveside services will be family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Emanuel in McAllen, TX.
