I personally met Mr. Lopez about 25 years ago. I had heard great stories about his generosity, kindness, humility and service to others even before I met him. It all proved to be true. He lived to serve his family and his beloved community. He leaves a legacy of honor and integrity. His family is blessed with that legacy. Godspeed, Lauro.

My deepest Condolences to the Lopez Family. Last time I visited with Lauro was Dec 2015. We had a great talk about local politics and the struggles our local community has in becoming the community we could be. Since the 1970's I've known Mr. Lopez and I followed his community service and his business leadership. A great man so say the least. You will be missed. I truly honor your service to our Republic and your continued service to our community. You are a local role model for others to follow. Our community will remember you. Again, my deepest sympathy to the family.
