LENORA PEARL KITTLE KIDD Lenora Pearl Kittle Kidd age 90 peacefully passed into our Lord's loving arms Jan. 13, 2014 with her loving family at her side. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and devoted Christian friend to many anyone could ever wish for. Her kitchen was her office and the oven was the tool thru which she showed her love. She did her very best. Lenora was born 1923 at home in the hills of West Virginia to Simeon Kittle and Rena Kittle near the town of Adolf in the county of Randolph. She left by train at 20 years of age to live with her sister in California where she worked for McDonald Douglas air craft riveting bomb-bay doors (Rosie the Riveter). Afterwards she worked for Bell Telephone. She met and married Richard K. Kidd Jr. in Baltimore Maryland in May 05 of 1946. They were married 67 years. She was the 3rd from the youngest of 12 children, sisters, brothers, half sisters and half brothers. She is preceded in death by her father Simeon Kittle, mother Rena Goss Pseaster Kittle, half brother Floyd Pseaster, half sisters Anne Pseaster, Reva Kittle Shannon, Rouy Kittle Pritt. Brothers: Squire Kittle, Cecil Kittle, Elbert Kittle, Sisters: Icie Kittle, Vivian Kittle Derricott, Geneva Kittle Schser. She is survived by one sister Betty Kittle Kimbrew of Elkins, West Virginia, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kidd Blackwell of San Antonio, Tx., brother-in-law, Charles E. Davidson of Mission, Tx. Sons: Richard K. Kidd 111 of Portland, Tx, Ronnie E. Kidd of Edinburg, Tx. and one daughter Vivian Kidd Keith of McAllen, Tx. 5 grand children: Karla M. Kidd Lovell, Richard B. Kidd, Brian R. Kidd, Travis S. Kidd, Ronnie Kidd, Rena Kidd. 12 great grand children and one great great grandchild. She was a life member of the Rio Valley Church of the Nazarene of McAllen Tx until her health prevented her from attending services. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am with Funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Rio Valley Church of the Nazarene in McAllen with Pastor Sheese officiating. Graveside services will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, Tx. Arrangements entrusted to Kreidler Funeral Home (956-686-0234), McAllen, Tx.
