Librado Castillo Obituary

LIBRADO H. CASTILLO
EDINBURG - Librado H. Castillo, age 97, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006, surrounded by his loving family at Legend Healthcare Center in McAllen. A native of Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, he was a former longtime member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo G. Castillo; sister, Virginia Carrizalez; brother, Fidel Castillo; and by his parents, Apolinar and Mariano Castillo.
He is survived by his daughter, Leticia (Juan) Castillo of Edinburg; sister, Leonor Castillo; two brothers, Maximino Castillo and Jose Guadalupe Castillo, all of Monterrey; three grandsons, John Lee (Lesvia) Castillo, Xavier Mariano (Oneida) Castillo and Jaime Castillo; eight grandchildren, Christi Lynn Castillo, Elsa Adalia Castillo, Alejandra Castillo, Jacob Librado Castillo, Lee Ann Castillo, Noemi Castillo, Ashley Deann Castillo and Victoria Castillo.
He was a very caring and loving grandfather, with his grandson being his pride and joy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Skinner Silva Funeral Chapel on West Sam Houston in Pharr, and a rosary to be recited at 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, December 3, 2006, at the Roselawn Mausoleum/Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Skinner Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.
