She is survived by her husband, Jose Sr., and kids, Ruth, Ruby, Ericka, Jose Jr., Sonya, Crystal, Angel, Amanda, and Yadira.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob.
The funeral service will be held at Funeraria del Angel at the Serenity Chapel in Mission, Texas, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. Lilia's smile, humor, and contagious laugh will always be remembered.

God has called home a wonderful Christian friend and she will be greatly missed. She had a heart of gold always thinking about others before herself. Although she came into the U.S. without knowing a word of English nor a penny to her name, she worked very hard and was able to get by. She had a hard life but with her strong faith in God,overcame many tough struggles. She is now face to face with the Almighty God her creator, completely healed, without pain, and sharing her beautiful smile with her little son, Jacob. What a sight this must be!
