MARK SCHNABEL Obituary
DONNA – Mark Schnabel, 53, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Aurora, Illinois, Mr. Schnabel had lived in Donna for the past five years.
Mark is survived by his children, Hannah Mae Barringer and Spencer John Barringer, both of Sheridan, Illinois; parents, William John Schnabel of Donna, Alice Schnabel of Shabbona, Illinois; seven siblings, William D. (Joanne) Schnabel of Sheridan, Illinois, Laura (Larry) Allen of Sandwich, Illinois, Kathy (John) Bertaccini of Marietta, Georgia, Deborah Schnabel (Shirley Arnolde) of McAllen, Margaret (Rick) Speake, Lisa (Paul) Johnson both of Sandwich, Illinois, Erica (fiancé, Phil Lutfy) Schnabel of Villa Park, Illinois; wife, Deborah Schnabel of Sandwich, Illionois; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.

I met Mark in late 2007 when I moved to Donna.
Mark was a big hearted friend and I regret that I didn't know his health was failing.
I moved north in 2009. Would that I could have met with him another time or two.
I'm also gifted and glad to have met Mark's Dad and 2 of his siblings.
