1978 - 2022

Pharr - Noe Flores Jr. best known as JR, while his stature was 5' 3" he possessed a heart of a giant. A resident of Pharr, TX, JR passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 43.

JR is survived by his wife of 24 years, Anna Lisa Flores; his parents, Noe Flores, stepmother Rosi Flores and mother, Rachel Martinez Garza, his siblings, Cesar (Janet) Flores, Aisa Flores, Rosalinda Quinones, Christina Garza, and Avelino J. Garza.

They say it takes a community to raise your children and that was very true for JR. His paternal grandparents helped raised him, they are deceased grandfather, Clemente Flores, and surviving grandmother Felicitas Flores.

Beloved by all: To include his uncles/aunts but more like brothers and sisters, are David (Janie), Roel (Frances), Rene (Imelda), Alberto (Nelsa), Ruben (Marta), Belinda (Lee), and Mario.

Mother-in-law Yomi Escobar, deceased father-in-law Adan Escobar II, Stepdad, Oscar Barrera, Aida Escobar, Aimee (Jimmie) Escobar Quinones, Adan Escobar III (AJ) (Nyssa).

And many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and close friends.

JR was larger than life, and he was the party. He was the epitome of family and unity and was intentional about bringing everyone together. JR went out of his way to make you feel wanted and special and always put a smile on your face. He was not only a Dallas Cowboy fanatic but was a karaoke enthusiast and the goof ball of the bunch. To say that he has left a gap, or a void is an understatement.

Funeral Services are scheduled at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston at 706 West Sam Houston Boulevard Pharr, TX 78577. Viewing services will be held on Sunday, May 29 between 11am to 9pm, with service at 6pm. Service and burial on Monday, May 30. Service will begin 12:00pm and burial at Palm Valley Gardens at 1pm.
