Norma Ramos Obituary

Corpus Christi - Norma Linda Ramos, age 71, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born on February 1, 1953 in McAllen, Texas where she grew up. Norma graduated from McAllen High School in 1971. She was a kindergarten teacher for over 30 years where she also received a Teacher of the Year award. She was actively involved in traveling, shopping, sports, sewing and ceramics. Norma was always adventurous and visiting destinations. Norma is preceded in death by her parents Jesus & Fransica Montemayor. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Ramini" Ramos, her sons Anthony (Angelina) Ramos and Brian (Mari) Ramos. Grandchildren; Lexy and Alec. Siblings; Dora Longoria, Alicia de la Garza, Joe Montemayor, Eddie Montemayor. Along with numerous nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Sister Shina and Sister Saijy, Melissa Valenzuela, Barbara Hernandez, Adriana del los Santos, Crystal Davis, April Skyy Home Health and Angel Bright Home Health for the care and compassion they showed our loved on in their final days.

We are very sorry for the passing of your beautiful wife. We were not close, but we enjoyed her company a few times. We wish we knew this happened to comfort you in this difficult time, but we just found out.
It broke my heart to know she left us. I pray she is enjoying her new life in the Heavenly Paradise. Luis and me send you heartfelt condolences.

Her legacy of love for children will continue through her family.
