Paulita Capetillo Obituary
Born in Edinburg, she had lived in Pharr since 1986 and was a parishioner at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Jesus, Sr. and Antonia Lopez; four siblings, Jose Jesus Lopez, Jr., Hilda Garcia, Juan Lopez, Jaime Miguel Lopez.
Mrs. Capetillo is survived by her husband of 58 years, Oscar G. Capetillo; five children, Roxanna C. (Ricardo) de Leon of Edinburg, Oziel Omar (Patricia) Capetillo of Weslaco, Roldan Luis (Virginia) Capetillo of Warden, Washington, Michael Angelo (Esmeralda) Capetillo of Port Mansfield, Oscar Lando (Anna) Capetillo of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Odilia Ozuna of San Carlos, Jose Manuel Lopez of Edcouch, Antonia Lopez of San Diego, CA, Yolanda Lopez of Pflugerville, Jorge Luis Lopez, Joel Lopez, Connie Lopez, all of Edinburg, and Teresa Respondek of McCook.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 2, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
