RALPH FRAZIER Obituary

RALPH L. FRAZIER SR.
ALAMO - Ralph L. Frazier Sr., 79, passed away July 25, 2010 at the Comfort House in McAllen, Texas. Ralph was born in Dayton TWP in Butler County, Iowa. He graduated from Charles City High School in Charles City, Iowa. Ralph moved to Wichita, Kansas in later years and retired from the Boeing Company after 35 years. He was a member of Order of the Eastern Star #494 in Haysville, Kansas. After retiring he moved to Wheatland, Missouri where he was a member of the Masonic Hogles Creek Lodge #279. He had been a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Club, Pomme De Terre Shrine Club, and Tin Lizzies Motor Club. He wintered in Texas which became his permanent home.
  He is preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Bernice Frazier and a brother and sister-in-law; Richard and Daisy Frazier.
  He is survived by his wife Darla D. Heidenreich; two brother-in-laws Donald Pounds and Darrell Pounds; four sons Ralph Jr. (Penny) Frazier, Michael (Holly) Frazier, Keith Frazier (Cassian Heath), and Greg (Lois) Frazier; two daughters, Linda Frazier (Darleen Dunn) and Ramona (Terry) Smith; one sister and friend, Donna James and Gene Allen; three brothers, Bernard (Pat) Frazier and David (Velma) Frazier and Stuart (Sharon) Frazier; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and many friends from American Legion Loyal Service Post #37 in McAllen and Wheatland, Missouri.
  Family would like to thank Dr. Nelson Mata, Dr. Alvaro Restrepo, Dr. Benjamin West, Legacy Hospice, and especially the staff of care givers of the Comfort House.
  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave McAllen, Texas 78501. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
  Arrangements are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home.

Dad, you will forever be in our lives. When I look at Keith and Linda, it is as if I can see you in both thier faces. I hear your voice and words of wisdom from Ralph, and your great sense of humor in Both Gregory and Ramona. You will forever be that strong-strapping farmer we all remember.
