I had the honor of having Dr. De La Rosa as my Leadership Studies professor in the Spring and this Fall. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great educator. My condolences to the De La Rosa family, friends and colleagues who lost a great friend and educator at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Ram was a wonderful student who worked so hard under tremendous health difficulties to finished his doctoral coursework and dissertation. He valued each family member uniquely and loved being a father, son, husband, and grandfather. Ram was passionate about his chosen area of higher education, online learning. His calm, caring demeanor and glowing smile will be missed by many friends, colleagues, and family.
