In disbelief.. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and children, those close to him and his brother's and sisters in blue. I briefly worked with Cpl. Salinas a short time. He was a great person, inside and out. He will be greatly missed. May he R.I.P.

My deepest condolences to the Salinas family and friends. The news was heartbreaking to all of us who know and admire Corporal Salinas. My time working with him was brief, yet it felt like a life time from stories of his Love for his wife and daughter, from his daily guidance and friendship, and from his dedication to the Thin Blue Line. For those of us who were lucky enough to have heard his laughter, I feel that will truly be missed the most.
