Ray LeFever Obituary

RAY LeFEVER
Weslaco, TX. - Ray LeFever, 92, passed away October 27, 2006, at his residence in John Knox Village.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ellen LeFever, who was his soul mate for sixty-three years.
He is survived by one sister, Vernice Storm, from San Antonio, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Ray was born in Fowler, Kansas on December 2nd. 1913. He graduated from High School in Kansas before moving to Alamo, Texas in 1932.
Ray spent most of his working career with the Immigration and Naturalization Service with who he retired.
Ray and Lou loved to travel, which took them to every state in the Union plus all over Canada.
He was a dedicated and loving husband who cared for his wife for many years during her failing health.
He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 31st at Skinner Silva Funeral Home of Pharr. Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. November 1st at Valley Memorial Gardens located at 3605 N. Taylor Road, Mission, Texas.
Services are entrusted to Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.
