REYNALDO SANCHEZ Obituary
McALLEN - Reynaldo "Rey" Sanchez, 45, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at his home in McAllen, Texas. He was born on January 6, 1967 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Rolando and Amalia "Molly" Sanchez.
Rey excelled in football and track in his youth and graduated from McAllen High School in 1985. Following graduation he received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Texas - Pan American.
He worked as an insurance agent for 22 years providing his clients with outstanding customer support through his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. His passion for his work was evident in his broad knowledge base of his field and dedication to helping others.
Rey enjoyed racing and rebuilding cars alongside his father and brother as well as being surrounded by friends. He had a knack for making friends easily and was well-known for his sense of humor and playful smile.
He is survived by his children Ashley and Matthew; parents Rolando and Amalia Sanchez; his brother Orlando (Marisela) Sanchez; sister, Maritza (Robert) Martinez; and nieces/nephews: Serina Sanchez, Roland Sanchez, Leena Sanchez, Marco Martinez, and Victoria Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012, beginning at 12:00 p.m. with the rosary scheduled at 7:00 p.m. at Kreidler Funeral Home in McAllen. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McAllen. Burial will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Rest in peace, we were rather surprise to hear about your passing. Together you and I cooked an awesome steak and it seemed like it was only yesterday, literally. Imagine all the stories we told around a relaxing fire pit after a long day at work. I would have hope to see you find the love of your life but it appears god had another plan for you. Mr. Roland, I worked with your son at Lone Star National Bank many years ago. One thing that I will always remember about Ray was his determination to succeed in life.
