Rodney CAMPBELL Obituary
News Death Notice
CAMPBELL, Rodney Allen 59, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on August 26, 2012. Rodney was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 2, 1953 to Lida Yvonne (Hunt) Campbell and the late Courtney Campbell. Rodney graduated from West Carrollton High School Class of 1971 and received his Bachelor's degree from Wright State University in Accounting in 1978. He worked as a C.P.A. professional thru the 90's in Ohio, Texas, and California and still did tax work for many friends and relatives. In the last ten years Rod had been involved in various areas of the trucking business. He is survived by his mother, Lida Yvonne Campbell of Miamisburg; 2 stepdaughters, Michelle (Glenn) Wright and granddaughters Savannah and Lauren of Birmingham, AL, and Robin (Boris) Bogdanich and granddaughters Marina and Anna of Sacramento, CA; brothers, Vernon (Sandy) Campbell of Miamisburg and Marvin Campbell of West Carrollton; sisters, Patricia Hendricks of Westerville, OH and Janice (Juan) Gomez of Centerville; nieces and nephews, Kim (John) Ikirt, Kelley (Danny) Profitt, MSgt. David (Jennipher) Hendricks, Doug (Amy) Hendricks, Melissa (MSgt. Robert) Rasberry, Heather (Jason) Fine, Benjamin Gomez and Sofia Gomez; many great nieces and nephews; and special cousins the Campbell girls: Shirley, Verna, Joyce and Mary. A memorial service will be held Thursday September 6, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Sanner Funeral Home, 800 South Alex Road, West Carrollton, OH 45449. Casual attire is requested. Please come with memories and stories to share about Rodney. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Assoc., 4555 Lake Forest Drive, Suite 396, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.

Rodney was a friend you could count on. Always there if you needed him. He always made me food and dropped it off for me.I will always be grateful for having known him and being his friend.He always had my back and I had his .Will dearly miss him.

R.I.P. Rodney, condolences to the CAMPBELL family , who I consider my extended family. I will always remember his sharp witt and a couple of memorable road trips we had. No more struggles my friend.
