David and I were so blessed to get to spend time with Ronnie while he was in Houston. Even when he was so ill, he would reach out his hand and squeeze with all his might in greeting. And when he could, would ask about those in McAllen, by writing or whisper. He had such a kind, sweet spirit and wiil be missed, but know he is now with so many he loves and is free of pain. God bless, Ronnie.

Years ago when I went through my divorce, Ronnie, a good friend of my folks helped me out with some furniture and a microwave he had in storage for the apartment I moved into. I had nothing and I was having a tough time back then. It was a selfless act of kindness that I've never forgotten. I was sad to learn if his passing. RIP Ronnie Cowgill. You were a good man and you will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. May God give you the comfort you need Mc

Always loved spending time with Ronnie. I always kept up with his bowling and what leagues he was in, we often would run into each other some bowling alley and Ronnie was so interested in how you were doing and full of questions, he was a true joy to be around. He will be missed.

My condolences to all the Cowgill families. Ronnie was a very close friend of mine for about 30 years and we bowled in the same team for the last 24 years. Ronnie was one of the best bowlers in all the bowling leagues in McAllen. He was even a better bowler on all tournaments, Texas or national events. He loved to Tavel and enjoyed the competitions from all the tournaments. He and I would spend time watching the Astros together, because we are true fans. He loved rock music, so we would enjoy he's great collection of rock music. He new all the names of every song and band members. I was alway amazed. Ronnie will be missed, but not forgotten, because he was my friend.
