Rosie Banda Obituary
Rosie was employed with the Edinburg Consolidated school district for more than 40 years working at Freddy Gonzales Elementary school. Rosie was a devoted wife,mother,daughter ,sister, and friend who gave to many charities and was loved by students,past and present. Rosie truly lived life to its fullest.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-Cecilia Bernadette Banda.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Mr. Joe Israel Banda, her son Joe Banda Jr., her step daughter Linda Banda Duty, Siblings Jovita Luna, Jose G. Escamilla, Alan Escamilla, Daniel Escamilla, numerous of nieces and nephews .
A memorial service in honor of Rosie Banda will be held at a later date and time.

My deepest condolences. I did my student teaching with Mrs. Banda in 1974. She left a great impression on me. She gave me confidence and prepared me for my first year of teaching in Dallas❤

My deepest condolences to the Banda and Escamilla families. Rosie was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever known. Her memory will live on through the lives of those she touched. May God watch over you and protect you through this difficult time of loss. Rest in peace Rosie. I know you have finally found peace and you are watching over us now with your daughter Cecelia. You will be missed but not forgotten.
