RUBY E. TREVINO
Littleton, Co. – Ruby E. Trevino, age 63, died at her home July 9, 2010 with her family at her side following a courageous battle with cancer.
 She was born September 23, 1946 , in Edinburg , Tx  to Henrietta C. Trevino and the late Rodolfo R. Trevino.
 As a child she was happy and singing since she was 9 months old (attempting "Oh, my Dawying Cwementine"). Growing up her musical talents blossomed after taking piano lessons from renowned instructor Yolanda Hinojosa with her recital piece being Clair d' Lune by Debussy.  While attending Edinburg High School she participated in Acapella Choir, All State Choir, Madrigal Singers, and performed as Piano Soloist with the Orchestra.  She graduated from Edinburg High School in 1964 and attended North Texas State University where she studied music for two years and sang for jury in competition "Lascia Ch'io Pianga"..
Occupationally, she became very successful in banking having worked in the business for nearly twenty five years. She then began working in real estate during the 1990's, her final position being a mortgage underwriter with her sound judgment confidently relied upon.
 Ruby was an amazingly resilient and graceful woman, an exceptional musician, a caring daughter, a fun sister, a committed mother, and a loyal friend and advisor to all.  She will be so dearly missed.
 Ruby is survived by her daughters Julie Ashley, Denver, Co., Stephanie Kerr and Laura Kerr, Littleton, Co.; granddaughter Shannon Dickson, Denver, Co.;  mother Henrietta C. Trevino, San Juan Capistrano, Ca.; brothers Jim (Roxanna) Trevino, Parker, Co.; Ed (Millie) Trevino, Rockwall, Tx., Bill (Jo Beth) Trevino, Edinburg, Tx.; David Trevino, San Juan Capistrano, Ca.; and Steve (Martha) Trevino, Fullerton, Ca.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her father Rodolfo R. Trevino and son Robert (Bobby) Ashley.
 Memorial services for Ruby E. Trevino were held at Crossroads Community Church in Parker, Co.  with Pastor Dave Danforth presiding.
