Lydia Fogle Obituary
Her greatest joy in life was her Christian faith. She was very loving and kind to all who knew her.
She was born in Galveston, Texas on October 29th, 1929. She attended Ball High School in Galveston before studying Music at the University of North Texas. She graduated with a B.M. in Music Education. She taught music for a year, then worked in administrative positions while she taught piano privately.
In 1957 she married Robert Fogle, who she was happily married to until his death in 2021. She sang in the First Baptist Church Choir for many years. She taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church for 50 years.
Lydia was preceded in death by Robert Fogle, Dorothy Lanclos Pickett, Sidney Pickett and Kelly Barnett, and is survived by children Karen Fogle Barnett, Keith Fogle, and grandchildren Jean Barnett, Kayla Barnett, and Wendy Barnett
The Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be at First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Frwy, Houston, TX 77024 in the chapel on January 27th, 2026 at 11:00 am
Donations to Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
