Shirley was an amazing woman of faith! She was fiercely independent, but compassionate and she loved God with all her heart. She was loved by her friends, but most especially by her Oblate family. Shirley was a founding member of the Benedictine Oblate Monastery of the Good Shepherd in Rio Grande City. She loved visiting the Monastery and gathering with her Oblate family. She was such a beautiful light among us. We will miss her dearly. Our hope is in God's promise of eternal life. May Shirley be rejoicing with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
