TIFFANY HUTCHINSON Obituary

TIFFANY NICOLE HUTCHINSON
Tiffany Nicole Hutchison will always be an inspiration to her family and friends for being a courageous warrior and fearless fighter. Tiffany was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 20, 1981. She was diagnosed with cancer as a teenager but unselfishly lived her life to the fullest through charitable work and serving as a heroic example and positive role model for everyone she came in contact with. Tiffany loved to travel, was passionate as a young career oriented woman, and stayed occupied in her spare time sewing, scrapbooking, and her number one delight: cooking. As a high school student in McAllen, she was honored as a Texas Scholar and worked as an athletic trainer. After receiving a liver transplant at age 19, she served as a nationwide "poster child" for the National Foundation for Transplants, periodically appearing in their literature and offering hope and encouragement to transplant recipients. Overcoming many obstacles, she proudly graduated with an Associate's Degree from the University of Houston. In her final years of life, the American Heart Association and Houston ARC were blessed to have someone as special as Tiffany as a volunteer. She adored her job with the law firm Tekell, Book, Matthews and Limmer, whose staff stood faithfully by her. Tiffany's outgoing spirit and kind heart united many people, and she is loved and missed by her survivors: father Joseph C. Hutchinson; mother Beate "Bebe" and step-father Dean Ellsworth; Oma Charlotte Kugler; along with many cousins she considered her sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and an extended family of friends. A private family service was held on December 8, 2009 and a celebration of life memorial will be on January 9, 2010.

I knew Tiffany for only a short time, and knew of her illness. I tried to maintain contact with Joe, her father, but lost track. Vicky and I went babysitting for our Granddaughter.
After a long illness, Tiffany is now at rest and her father can set back and reflect on all the wonderful care he had given her. Vicky and I share in your loss Joe, knowing that our child is in a better world.
God Bless,
