Please accept my deepest sympathies. Betty and I were friendsbut we lost contact throughtout the years. She and I shared a lot of memories. I always asked her for advice when I had guy troubles, she was younger than me but for some reason she always knew what to say to make me feel better. I have and will always miss her greatly. She was a terrific person inside and out.

I will miss you BettyBee!

Where to begin, life has it's turns, it's ups and downs, some more than others but only when you choose too do you see the path you need to take. In this you cherish your friends more than ever for they tend to give you the right direction even if you don't think it's right. My friend my Betty-Boo you are my best bud even if we haven't talked as much as we should, but we are always in each others minds and always happy to see each other. You gave me some much needed advice and I to you, for this we know in our hearts that we will always be Friends till the end. Now I use my memories as best as I can and will remember you the way we were, For now GOD has chosen you to be with him and your time here is done. Now you look at us from above and with smiles that only you can give you shine with the sun and watch over us all, giving us directions when needed with rain, wind,or even the hot south texas heat. Till the day that the Lord calls upons me to be there I will always remeber you and your smile (with BRACES).

There will come a day
when your tears of sorrow
will softly flow into tears of remembrance...
and your heart will begin to heal itself...
and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...
and you will hear the whisper of hope.
There will come a day
when you will welcome the tears of remembrance...
as a sunshower of the soul...
a turning of the tide...
a promise of peace.
There will come a day when you will...
risk loving...
go on believing...
and treasure the tears of remembering.

Where to begin is tough. Knowing you since you and my lil bro, Chris, were in Jr. High throughout high school....watching you change, grow and the honor of becomming a mother...such an accomplishment. My lil brothers face, Chris as he told us of your passing...he was devastated! You guys were like siblings, only from different parents. It was a blessing to know you and we regarded you only as nothing less than family. My heart goes out to your family, your siblings and your daughter. We are shocked and in total disbelief yet...we know you are in a much better place. We love you Betty..we always will! God only takes the very best of us...he needed you more...now it's your turn to watch over us, your family, your beautiful daughter...

We love you & we will miss you,
The Ramirez family-Alamo, TX

We'll see in you in heaven someday...save me a spot next to you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
