WALTER HENDERSON Obituary
Walter W. Henderson, resident of Killeen, Texas passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Henderson was born on August 21, 1936 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Valiera Henderson and Otila Marquez. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Ella Lou Saldana.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Walter Henderson was known and loved by many. He was a remarkable and respected man, a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Walter is survived by his wife, Donna, and his children Gina, Valerie, Veronica, Walt Jr. (Karen), Linda (Lorenzo), Cindy, Bridgette, and Zachary. His grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren, Maria, Thomas, Kathryn, and Christopher: one great-grandchild Isaiah. He also leaves behind his sisters, Ruth, Frances (Santos), his brothers Howard, Richard (Amber), and many nieces and nephews.
The mass will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rio Grande City. The burial will be held at the city cemetery in Rio Grande City.

To Ruth, Frances, Howard, Richard and all the family of Walter Henderson:
We are truly saddened to learn of the loss of Walter and our prayers and thoughts are with all of the family during this difficult time. We knew Walter for many years and hold fond memories of days in Rio Grande City during our "young" days. I remember Walter's laugh and how he was always a happy go lucky guy. He will be missed by all. May God bless you with His holy graces now and always.
