LATHAM, AARON JACOB; age 31; of Weidman passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 22, 2014. A Funeral Mass for Aaron will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Ricky Varner officiating. A luncheon will follow in the K of C Hall. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 3 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil for Aaron at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 3033 or the Beal City FFA Organization. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Aaron was born on August 8, 1982 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Billy and Debra (Smith) Latham. Aaron graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2001. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, serving two tours in Iraq and one in Kuwait. Aaron loved life and always had a huge smile on his face. Aaron is survived by his parents, Billy and Debra; siblings, Adam (Stacy) Latham and Gina (Joseph Clasman) Latham; nephews, Braedyn and Matthew; niece, Isabella; girlfriend, Maryea Siddall; business partner, Blaine Block; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents.
