Christopher Hanley Obituary
Christopher James Hanley, age 27, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 11, 2013.
A Funeral Mass for Chris will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Loren Kalinowski officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Service to Celebrate Chris's Life at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and church during the services.
Chris was born on September 12, 1985 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Timothy and Marleen (Bendele) Hanley. He married Amanda Barker on November 29, 2008 in Shepherd. Chris adored his son, Logan. He enjoyed building motorcycles and spending time with his wife on motorcycle trips. His friends remember him most for his guitar playing and singing.
Chris is survived by his wife Amanda; son, Logan; parents; mother and father-in-law, Steve and Carey Barker; brothers and sisters, Greg Hanley, Alissa (Justin) Raddatz, Ryan (Kayla) Barker, Brandi (Mark) Woods, and Falicia Barker; and nieces and nephews, Adalynne, John, Connor, and Brooklyn.

My name is Kristie Wohlscheid I went to school with Chris At sacred Heart until we were in third grade when I changed schools. We continued to stay friends and talk on the phone a lot. He was my best friend during those grades. I'm So Sorry for your loss. I will keep the family in my prayers.

We always enjoyed having Chris and Amanda in our home to visit and play cards. It's such a tragedy to have a life taken at such a young age, Chris, we will miss you but you are with God now, he will hold you safely in his arms.
