David Yehl Obituary

YEHL, DAVID EUGENE, age 68, passed away on Tuesday May 25, 2021. David was born to Eugene and Joan (Kimball) Yehl on July 3, 1952 in Alma. He graduated from Alma High School where he achieved a district championship in wrestling. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, receiving a medal of commendation, and graduated from Michigan State University. He enjoyed painting and reading, as well as watching all sports, especially MSU basketball and football. He was devoted to his family and was a caring, loving father and grandfather, adored by his children and grandchildren. David is survived by his children, Eugene (Ashley) Yehl, Adam Yehl, and Sarah Yehl; grandchildren, Braydon and Cainin; sisters Connie Gallagher and Diane (Rich) Bandlow; and brother Jeremy (Lisa) Yehl. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Joan. No services for David will be planned at this time.
