Dixie Leonard Obituary

Mar. 1, 1921-Nov. 25, 2013

Dixie M. Leonard, age 92 of St. Louis passed away Monday November 25, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Coe Church of Christ. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd.
Dixie was born March 1, 1921 in Rising Sun, OH to Wesley and Ionia (West) Bockey. She married Kermit Leonard November 24, 1940 in Wood County, OH, he preceded her in death in 2008. Dixie worked for her brother-in-law, Cullen Webb as a finish carpenter for many years. She enjoyed working in her garden and was an avid bowler. She is survived by three children, David Leonard of Shepherd, Stephen Leonard of St. Louis, Karen (Mike) Wohlfert of Alma; three grandchildren, Joseph Leonard, Desiree (Cullen) Bigard and Justin Wohlfert and one great grandson, Riley Bigard.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband Kermit and two brothers and two sisters.
