Harold Brisboy Obituary

Harold D. Brisboy, age 66, of Blanchard, passed away June 16, 2013 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Alma. Cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life dinner to follow at the Black Creek Conservation Club located at 2643 Chippewa Rd., Mt. Pleasant, on June 24 at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Pardee Cancer Foundation. The family asks that those attending the celebration bring photos of Harold along with great memories to share.
"I have to wake up tomorrow and see what the day will bring," was a favorite saying of Harold's. After 13 years of fighting cancer he truly knew the meaning of living each day to the fullest. He was known to be a very giving, loving, and helpful man who loved spending time with his family and friends. A favorite place of his was the family cabin in the U.P.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta; children, Sheila (Greg) Gall, Dawn Brisboy, and Lisa Brisboy (Steve Lowery); grandchildren, Gage, Amber, and Kristofer Gall, Jorgia and Tucker Lowery, and Caroline Olsen; brother, Monty Brisboy; sister, Nettie Hamlin; and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parent.
