1974 - 2021

Jason Matthew DeLeon, age 46, of St. Louis went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home, after a short battle with Covid-19. He was born on October 25, 1974 in Flint the son of Reynaldo and Francis Kay (Mikels) DeLeon. He spent most of his childhood in Flint, before moving to Farwell as a teenager. He was a 1994 graduate of Farwell High School. Jason met the love of his life, Jennifer Nisonger in 2002 and they were married on June 7, 2003 at the Church of God in St. Louis. Jason loved Jesus with all his heart and was an active member of Resurrection Life Church. Whenever the church doors were open, Jason could be found inside. He loved praise and worship men's group, serving as an usher and volunteering whenever there was a need. Jason Always had a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. He loved the Detroit Lions, the University of Michigan and any team that played Michigan State. Jason is survived by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Matthew and Joshua DeLeon; Reynaldo DeLeon, his mother-in-law, Irma Nisonger; siblings, Mike (Heather), Eric (Becky), Melissa (Scott) Cregar, Gabe (Jill). Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, who all held a special place in Jason's heart. Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Francis and father-in-law, Alan Nisonger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Resurrection Life Church for the needs of the family. Memorial services will be held July 24, 2021 at 11 am at Resurrection Life Church with Pastor Rick Lopez officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux Funeral Home, St. Louis.
