NESBITT, KELLY KAE, age 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at her home. Kelly was born in Alma, Michigan, on August 25, 1968, the daughter of Gerald and Sandra (McCarthy) Nesbitt. She graduated from Montabella High School with the class of 1986. Kelly had worked for Mt. Pleasant Wal-Mart, Ric's Foods, and Rally's. She was an avid golfer, MSU fan, and loved her beloved cat. Kelly made the best chocolate chip cookies. Kelly is survived by her father Gerald (Beth) Nesbitt of Mt. Pleasant; brother Kyle (Nicole) Nesbitt of Cedar Springs; stepbrother James Wernette of Mt. Pleasant; stepsister Susan (Ryan) Boge of Mt. Pleasant; nieces Brynn, Adelyn, Emery, and Alexandra Nesbitt; and special Aunt Melanie Allan of Mt. Pleasant. Kelly was preceded in death by her mother Sandra in 1993; infant brother Richard; maternal grandparents Earl and Edith McCarthy; and paternal grandparents Miles and Eloise Nesbitt. A Graveside Service for Kelly will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Pine River Cemetery with Gale Nesbitt and Pastor Chris Greene officiating.
