My sister and I first met Mr. Peter many years ago at Sears after listening in on a conversation. We were drawn to him because his voice and accent was just like our grandfather's. We could have listened to him speak forever, it was such a comfort. Little did I know that our paths would cross again with the East Jefferson Italian American Society. Meeting Mr. Peter and Miss Dolly has been a treasure. I am saddened and sorry for the family and Italian community's loss. Rest in Peace Mr. Peter. I will always remember you.
