Earnest "Ernie" D. Everett

FREMONT: Earnest "Ernie" D. Everett, 79, of North St., Fremont passed away surrounded by his family at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. He was born on September 10, 1932 in Fremont to Page and Stella M. (Leggett) Everett. He served in the Ohio National Guard with the 148th Infantry from 1948 to 1952.

Ernie married Carol G. Sheets on May 22, 1954 in Lagrange, IN and she survives.

Ernie was a professional painter for many years and had previously worked for Fremont Foundry.

He loved riding motorcycles, spending time with family and going to casinos. He loved animals, especially his dog, Scooby. His kind and gracious heart affected so many people's lives.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Carol G. Everett; daughters, Peggy Jo Wilhelm, Penny Sue (Ray) Palyshka, Patricia Kay Hamilton and Pamela Wanita Aman, all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Kristine Lauer, Kelly Reinheimer, Bobbie Jo Bradfield, Roxann Mitchell and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jeanette Michael and brother, Donald Everett.

Visitation: Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.

Service: Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Click officiating.

Burial: McGormley Cemetery, Fremont.

Memorials: To the family or Stein Hospice.
