Reva Hull Obituary
Reva was born in Bettsville, on December 11, 1917 to the late James Burkett and Edna Lou (Carper) Sibrel. She married Willard "Wid" Junior Hull in Decatur, Indiana on June 5, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1985.
Survivors include her children, Leah Ann (Garry) Tanner of Fremont, James Russell (Virginia) Hull of Kansas, OH, and Jane Kay (Scott) Cooley of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Reva is also survived by a brother, Kenneth D. Sibrel of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Beulah Sibrel of Fremont; ten grandchildren, Deborah (Mark) Brause, Douglas (Lori) Tanner, Tamara (Jerry) Hammett, Barry (Nancy) Hull, Robert (Kelly) Hull, Carol (Dennis) Coles, Kendra (Brian) Clark, Michael (Jenn) Cooley, Steven (Emily) Cooley, and Robert Cooley; seventeen great-grandchildren, Kyle, Janelle, Eva and Eric Tanner, Kelsey, Abby, Austen Hammett, Brooke, Brent, Chase, Aisha and Alexis Hull, Jimmy and Stephanie Monroe, Kaitlyn, Brooke Clark and Christopher Cooley; two step-great-grandchildren, Jon and Samantha Coles; and many nieces and nephews.
Reva was a homemaker and a member of the Burgoon United Methodist Church and the Bettsville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a 1934 graduate of the Jackson Burgoon High School.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Vera Level and Dora Boyer; and a brother, Harold "Skip" Sibrel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Bettsville with Pastor Chuck Albright officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Monday at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
