Alexis Nichole Cruz

Alexis Nichole Cruz, 18, a daughter, sister and friend, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, in Lebanon.

Born on Thursday, May 12, 2005, in Hardin County, Alexis was a light to all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on their hearts and lives.

A 2023 graduate of John Hardin High School, Alexis was known for her kind and gentle spirit. She was a selfless individual who's presence brought warmth and joy to all those around her. Alexis had a passion for music and often could be found lost in her favorite tunes. Her love for music was infectious, and she always was eager to share the latest songs with her friends and family.

Alexis is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Tammy Bowman; and her 10 siblings: Brittany Davis, Mike Davis, Junior Cruz, Miranda Caldera, Blake Caldera, Meghan and Chaz Edwards, Abigail, Bentley, AnnaBeth and Samuel Robey. She was an adoring aunt to her five nieces and nephews, Teayania Smith, Tyson ManGruem, Trentyn ManGruem, Emmitt Edwards and Khali-Kay Hudson. Alexis also leaves behind her two cousins, Emily Mason Israel Urbano; as well as a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

The world is a little dimmer without Alexis Nichole Cruz, but her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts and minds of all those who were blessed to know her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
