Barbara Beard Obituary
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, going on walks and listening to music on the radio. Barbara loved dogs and stuffed animals. Her cherished memories were traveling to Branson, Missouri, with her husband, James.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Lee Beard; and her parents, Christian and Marie Harlan Altman.
Survivors include two sons, Brandon Beard of Elizabethtown and Leslie Beard of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Julie and Jamie; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation begins at noon Tuesday and continues until the time of the service.
