Betty Carden Obituary
She was born Sept. 25, 1940, to the late Louise Grimes and Henry Cox. Betty loved walking, reading, spending time at the beach and caring for her beloved dog. Above all, she cherished her great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brad Carden; her daughter, Pamela Reed; and her grandson, Nathan.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Bill Carden; her son, Jeffrey Carden (Mary Ann); her brother, Bobby Cox; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Betty's life is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
