Brian Martin Obituary

Brian Michael Martin, 71, of Magnolia, left this world Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.

Born Dec. 5, 1953, in Pacific Palisades, California, he grew up surfing and racing cars up and down Sunset Boulevard.

In 1992, he moved to Kentucky, where he was welcomed and accepted by his wife's family and made many friends.

Brian was truly a unique individual. He always had a smile and could make anyone laugh. He wore Hawaiian shirts and shorts every year for as long as he could and mourned when he had to don his pants and shoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara Martin; and his sister, Diane Bock.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Denise Martin; his brother, David Martin, and his wife, Natalia; his two children, Melissa Roberts and son-in-law, Deryck, and Christine Martin; his beloved nephew, Christopher Haycraft; his five grandchildren, Tiernon, Lillion, Shiloh, Ravyn and Diamond; and several in-laws, outlaws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation was chosen.

A celebration of Brian's life is at 2 p.m. Nov. 23, at his home, 1177 Martin Meadow Lane in Magnolia. All who knew him are encouraged to stop by and share a Martin story.

He will be missed.
