Brooks Hohenstein Obituary

Brooks Weiland Hohenstein Jr., 54, died Friday, Dec. 6, in an accident.
He was a 1976 graduate of North Hardin High School. Brooks was a network operations analyst with Humana.
His parents, Gertrud and Brooks Hohenstein, pre-ceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon Herkamp Hohenstein. He was the proud father of five children, Andrew Hohenstein his wife, Stephanie, Elizabeth Anne Hohenstein, Phillip Richards, Brian Richards and Allison Hohenstein; four grandchildren; a sister, Patty Lirot and her husband, Tom, and their children, Ashleigh and Thomas; an uncle and aunt, Tony and Billie Jean Hohenstein; and a cousin, Scott Hohen-stein.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Chaplain Larry Vance officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
