I ran across a piece of artwork David did when he was 10 years old and I was his Sunday School teacher at Arlington United Methodist Church in Bridgeton, MO. It made me wonder whatever happened to him. As I read through the condolences I see that he truly was an exceptional Godly man and he graduated to heaven, but will live forever in the hearts and minds of all who loved him.

We were devastated to hear the news about David. He was a stellar example of what a good Christian should be….a great father and husband and active in his children's lives. While he is gone too soon, I know that he made such a positive impact on so many lives that he will live on as a role model for all of us.

He was such a great role model and coach. One of the most dedicated always positive men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I got to know David through our children who played basketball together and from swin meets for middle school. Such a pleasant guy to chat with and he always wanted to know how my son and daughter were doing in school and their activites/sports. I then got to know him a little better working around him at Brown-Forman. He was very proud of the great accomplishments of his children. David was always a fine gentleman to me and others here at Brown-Forman. I will miss seeing David's smiling face, updates about his children's accomplishments and the nice things he always had to say to me. RIP my friend.
