David Underwood Obituary
He was a carpenter, an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War and past American Legion Post No. 87 vice commander.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Marie Underwood.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie Dever Underwood; a daughter, Amanda (James) Blair; two sons, Jamie (Mindy) Underwood and Chad (Alisha) Underwood, all of Hodgenville; 13 grandchildren, Chris Underwood, Cody (Megan) Underwood, Tiffany (Andrew) Thomas, Kacie (Logan) Smith, Bradley Highbaugh, Tara Underwood, Colton Underwood, Nikki Blair, Dillon Blair, Paxton Underwood, Cain Underwood, Olivia Blair and Toby Blair; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rachel Cline of Rineyville and Martha Underwood of Hodgenville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral services is at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Robert Jewell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville
Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday and continues at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
