Denise Higdon Obituary
She was a native of Hardin County and a member of New Hope Community Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her church, singing and fellowship.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Harvey Higdon; two sons, George Jenkins (Heather) of Bordelonville, Louisiana, and Isaac Paul Sr. (Katherine) of Radcliff; one daughter, Marilyn Holley (Allen) of Horse Cave; her mother, Ruby Murray of Hodgenville; four brothers, David Murray, Frank Murray, Walter Murray and Dewey Murray; eight grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Cassandra, Elisabeth, Israel, Isaiah, Isaac Jr. and Illiyah; and one great-grandchild, Lilah Ruby.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Herb Williams officiating.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Grandma, 23 years ago you came in to my life when I was a young 7 years old. You quickly showered me with love and devotion. Your spirit and your embrace are something I will carry on forever. Grandpa loved you dearly and I am so glad he found you.
