Douglas McArthur Graham went to meet his maker on Friday, July 24, 2015.
He served his country for 22 years and achieved the highest rank possible for him. He was awarded the Bronze Star with V-Device for Heroism in action along with the Purple Heart and numerous other awards.
Douglas was devoted to his family and lived his life with no apologies to anyone. Douglas will be missed by his many friends and his dog "Bubby" who he loved dearly. He will be missed especially by his best friend, Paul McIntosh, who he often referred to as his brother.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Linda, who he was married to for 54 years.
He leaves his loving daughters, Kimberly (Douglas) Gibson and Tracy Graham; his three granddaughters, Hope (Micah) Nipper, Erika Ferrell and Bethany (Kevin) Payton; and his great-grandson, Gunnar Harrison Payton.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Ministries Church of Elizabethtown on Ring Road with the Rev. Jerry Westerfield officiating. Burial with military honors follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
