My late wife, Charlene cleaned house for Dr. Ruth for several years. At one point Dr. Ruth thought so much of my wife that she gave Charlene her Bronzed Baby Shoes. We also attended Grace Heartland Church with Dr. Ruth for many years.

My condolences to the family of Dr. Ruth Redel. Ruth was a member of our Hope Group Bible Study many years ago. She was also a client of my late wife's (Charlene) House Cleaning Service (A Touch of Finesse). She will be greatly missed.

When I was a student at ECC, Redel was a sponsor of the honor society I was in there. I remember her walking through the house of ECC for exercise. Although I never had her in class, she was a nice lady from what I know.

To the family of my dear friend Ruth, she was such a spiritual TRUE blessing to have known for many years. She was one of the first people I met in church and welcomed me into her heart. At her home for a ladies brunch, we shared a common ground of having our families overseas. I thank God for a true Saint.

I met Ruth when I moved to Etown in 2012. We shared a live of British literature and archeology. In fact, she passed her archeology magazines to when she had fully absorbed them. After she stopped getting out much, I occasionally went to visit her with my son-in-law Daryl Pepper, associate pastor at GHC. She was very dear to him and I wish I had met her earlier in both our lives.
