Herbert Milburn Jr. Obituary

Herbert Milburn Jr., 79, of Sonora, passed away Tuesday Nov. 27, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was born in Elizabethtown to Herbert and Cora Shelton Milburn. He worked for Bussmann Manufacture for 37 years as a machinist. Herbert attended Highway of Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Walter Edward Milburn; five sisters, Alma Frances Miller, Katherine Church, Reva May Edlin, Josephine Riddle and Emma Pearl Jaggers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Miller Milburn of Sonora; two sons, Mitchell Milburn of Rineyville and Daniel Gene Milburn of Sonora; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora with the Rev. Jamie Ellington officiating. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
